About the Recital
Since winning the Cardiff Singer of the World Competition in 1995 Swedish mezzo Katarina Karnéus has established a major international career in opera, concert and recital. The folk-inspired Love Songs of Hafiz by Polish composer Karol Szymanowski and song settings by Respighi, Grieg and Strauss provide a delightful opportunity to hear her outstanding vocal qualities.
