Please note there is no vehicular access to Cambridge Street and Grindlay Street. - Level access to double doors. Lift access to all levels of the theatre.
- Wheelchair spaces available in rear stalls, which have been levelled and raised. Seats at some row ends incorporate removable arm rests for easy transferral.
- Induction loop system in all levels of the auditorium. Induction loop/intercom available at Box Office.
- Hearing enhancement system available. Receivers for use without a hearing aid can be collected from information/shop area.

- Pavement ramp, or six steps with one handrail, at front of theatre. Level access is also available at a side entrance if required.
- Lift access to all levels of the theatre. Lift has a voice announcement.
- Wheelchair spaces available in centre stalls. Large parties welcome.
- Sennheiser infra-red system in all areas of the auditorium. Receivers for use either with or without a hearing aid are available; please ask any member of front of house staff if you would like to use this service. Headsets can be collected from the cloakroom.
- Levels one, two and three of the theatre all have accessible unisex toilets with emergency call buttons.

- Four wheelchair spaces available in the stalls. Wheelchair access is at the side of the Theatre. Please notify staff at Box Office to gain entry.

- Unisex accessible adapted toilet on stalls level.
- Bars on all levels are only accessible by stairs. However, theatre staff are available to bring refreshments to those who require assistance. Please request this service prior to the start of the performance.

The Edinburgh Playhouse
18 - 22 Greenside Place
- Greenside Place and Leith Walk are Greenways and controlled by Police. Single yellow line to rear of theatre or Pay and Display over the road on Picardy Place and Union Place. Public car parking approximately 40 metres away in Gayfield Square or Greenside Row. There is also a 24hr NCP car park located next to the theatre.
- Ramped access or three steps at front doors.
- Level access for wheelchair users to positions in the front section of the rear of the circle. We recommend that people with mobility difficulties sit in the circle as this is the most accessible level.
- Sennheiser infra-red system available in all areas of the auditorium. Receivers for use either with or without a hearing aid are available. Please note that a £10 deposit is required which will be returned at the end of the performance. Contact Duty Manager for headsets.
- Unisex accessible toilet off main foyer at circle level. There is also a unisex ambulant disabled toilet on the mezzanine level.
- The bar situated at the circle level is accessible to wheelchair users, as is the merchandise kiosk and the circle kiosk serving confectionery.

Royal Mile
- There is a public car park on Castle Terrace which is down a steep hill, approximately a 25 minute walk to St Giles'.
- There are no parking facilities at the cathedral and there is no car access to the Royal Mile during the Festival.
- Many buses travel to South Bridge and the Cathedral is a 5 - 10 minute walk from there.
- There is ramp access at the west door at Parliament square or six steps with a handrail.
- There are flexible seating arrangements in St Giles'; chairs and spaces can be arranged as required.

Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

- Parking available around the perimeter of the Garden and on side streets. Parking is free at weekends and evenings, but is metered Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm. There are a limited number of disabled parking bays at the North Gate on Inverleith Place where disabled badge holders have priority parking.
- There is level access to the Garden and the Palmhouse, though it is located at the foot of a hill.
- Accessible unisex toilet in toilet block located outside the glasshouses.

The Hub

Castlehill, Royal Mile
- Single yellow line and Pay and Display spaces available on Johnston Terrace. Public car park on Castle Terrace, which is down a steep hill from The Hub. There is no parking on Johnston Terrace or Castlehill during the Edinburgh Military Tattoo from the 1 to the 23 August 2008.
- Level or lift access to all public areas of the building. Hub Tickets' counters are at a suitable height for wheelchair users.
- The Main Hall and the Dunard Library are fully accessible with wheelchair spaces available.
- Induction loop system in Hub Tickets and the Main Hall.
- The Dunard Library is equipped with an infra-red hearing enhancement system for use without a hearing aid. Headsets for use without a hearing aid are available from the Manager on Duty.
- One accessible unisex toilet with emergency pull cord on the ground floor and one up three steps or using a stair lift.
- Cafe Hub has level access on the ground floor.
- Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome.

Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert
Sunday 31 August 9.00pm
- Vehicle access to the neighbouring streets is restricted on the evening of the Fireworks Concert. NCP car park at Castle Terrace.
- Level access to Ross Theatre approximately 200 metres from King's Stables Road entrance. To avoid congestion on the access paths you are advised to arrive before 8.00pm.
- There are wheelchair spaces available in the Ross Theatre. In Princes Street Gardens wheelchair spaces with space for one companion are available in a specially ticketed area; please let us know if you would like to use this area when you book. Space for additional companions is provided immediately in front of the wheelchair area, please ask a steward on the night for access to this area.
- There are disabled toilet facilities in the disabled viewing area and behind the Ross Theatre.
- Wheelchair accessible toilet also available in public toilets at the West End of the Gardens.
Please note that the Gardens have no specialised facilities and that the area becomes very crowded. This combined with the noisy fireworks means that it is not advisable to bring guide dogs and hearing dogs to this event as it may cause them distress.
