St Giles' Catherdral
Royal Mile
St Giles' is a dramatic 15th century Gothic Cathedral located in the heart of Edinburgh's old town. The Cathedral is the perfect atmospheric setting for Naji Hakim's organ recitals in the Messiaen 100 Series.
Parking:
- There is a public car park on Castle Terrace which is down a steep hill, approximately a 25 minute walk to St Giles'.
- There are no parking facilities at the cathedral and there is no car access to the Royal Mile during the Festival.
- Many buses travel to South Bridge and the cathedral is a 5-10 minute walk from there.
Access Information:
- There is ramp access at the west door at Parliament square or six steps with a handrail.
- There are flexible seating arrangements in St Giles'; chairs and spaces can be arranged as required.
- Induction loop.
- Staff available to assist.
